Tried to find some pterodactyl wings at HEB like Capt'n Jack fixed last year, but after getting home with the package (that you could NOT tell anything about the contents ) I discovered that the two (yup 2) wings in the pack would separately cover a 10 1/2" dinner plate. Wiffy wisely decided on a lean cuisine today for I had involved myself with what was soon to be a FLAPPER FLUB. (had another word but opted for Flub)
In interest of culture cuisine exchange I decided on a taste of Creole, Texan and Jamaican but even those three couldn't help this fiasco.
Day before yesterday I injected it "thoroughly" with Tony's Creole Butter and then ziplock bagged it in some more over night. This morning I took it out of the ziplock and let it cuddle with Hootchie Mama all morning.
Then it was put on the ECB and after 15 minutes covered with Mesquite Smoke from some pre-soaked chips.
Right before removing, I bathed it with Jamaican Jerk Sauce but even that didn't help. Plated with some drizzled stick veggies and took a pic just to remind me not to ever do this again.
It was very tough but moist so I cut the drumette and wingette apart and put them back on the pit to possibly get it to at least Taco stage instead of turning it into Cat Food.
OH, the Robert's Reserve Jerk Sauce wasn't worth the price either (very bland) - - - that stuff that W. V. sent me last year was awesome but not the stuff I used today. Even Tony and Suckle Busters couldn't salvage this one.

Thanks. The poor steak didn't taste that bad for almost shoe leather.
