Howdy from Kansas City

Postby Maxmbob » Wed Dec 14, 2016 9:41 am

New member from KC. Been grilling, bbqing and smoking most of my life. Learned from my Dad as a kid in the sixties on a grill he made from a old forge. I have kettle grills from the 50s through 2014. I cooked / smooked competitively in the 90s on a homemade trailer smoker. Recently purchased another trailer smoker. Always looking to learn new things and techniques. I am enjoying digging through your fourm.

Hey castironchris
Here is a pic of my 4th of July cook. The blue is a 1981, red is from the 90s and the cream from the 2000s.

Welcome! Hearing the age spread of those kettles, then looking at them; there is no noticeable difference from here other than the handles and colors. Guess a good product doesn't really need to change!
