Hello from Ft.Worth

Postby TexasRob » Tue Dec 13, 2016 11:29 pm

Hello all,

My name is Rob and my wife and I moved to Texas a little over 3 years ago from MA, work relocated me. Soon after moving here a neighbor introduced me to my recent hobby of BBQ and smoking meats! In my short time here I have already purchased various cookers and gadgets. Thinking my new cooker will come this Spring, loving the Gateway drum smokers! I'm also interested in signing up for a Saturday day class in 2017 somewhere in the DFW area. Looking forward to hearing from others in here and learning some techniques from the veterans. Very happy to have found the forum!

I wonder if they are affiliated/kin to the Cooper's BBQ in Llano? That used to be one of my favorite places while in route to kill Bambi's Kinfolk
