Hey Em,

You can duplicate what we had, just ask ur local butcher to slice u up some ribeye, throw them in a cast iron skillet with provolone and havarti, peppers and onions.
We didn't do anything special, it was just the ingredients.
You could probably get the ribeye sliced paper thin for about 13 or 14 $ total for two sammies. One lb should suffice enough for you both ?
We had 2 lbs for 4 of us and we were stuffed.

Wv you mention havarti, this is my wife's fave cheese, we get a peppered havarti from Barry's bay cheese factory in akaroa, she gets me my fave masdaam from there also. Great cheeses for a cheese platter.

Russ,

I think Havarti is one of the best cheeses when it comes to recipes requiring it to be melted.
Cold cut sammies with Roast Beef pair excellent with it too...

Just imo tho

Cool, our go to cheese daily is cheddar or Colby . Hot meat sammich with cheese onion and relish. That's about my top sammy.
