Hey everyone. I live in Mont Belvieu and just an average backyard bbq cooker who loves to smoke meat. I bought an old country pecos smoker and still learning the ropes of it. Loving it so far. Just looking for any advice to become a better cooker. Have a great day.

Thanks for the welcome. Doing my first brisket on the smoker this weekend. Already smoked pork shoulder and ribs and came out pretty good. Following Franklin's brisket recipe. Looking forward to end result.
