Throw Down Polls

Postby DATsBBQ » Fri Nov 02, 2007 9:14 pm

I will be posting 6 polls concerning the next Throw Down, and those polls may have an impact on the next Throw Down and those that follow. Please answer honesty and offer your opinions as to that question in the same thread (IE, click post). Thank you in advance for your opinions.

I would like to see you add a poll about moderator entries. I don't think y'all are gonna rig the votes, and you could rotate leaving one or two of you out to monitor things each event.
That would add what, 3-4 more entries each time.

Yep, I'm with Mike. Let the mods enter.

Maybe limit mods to only 2 catagories each TD, or only 2 mod entries per catagory.

I like the way it was done last TD (?) where we had a Deputy category. Kind of an anything goes with no prizes except the bragging rights.

Chuck,
I think that was the Throw Down before, but only you & entered

To avoid any claim of impropriety or the appearance thereof, we decided that the management here shouldn't compete.

We kicked around the idea of allowing ourselves to compete and should by strange quirk of fate win, decline the title and purse. But that would have caused problems too cause who ever came in #2 might feel slighted. Actually make that #6 cause the Sheriff and us deputies would sweep 1st through 5th

So in the end we thought it best not embarrass ourselves and keep to the sidelines.

Like Chuck said.
The basic rules are posted in the "sticky" called General Ordinances. The General Ordinances cover the Throw Downs in general. Specific rules regarding the current Throw Down are published before starts. Hope this helps.
