I would still enter without the prizes and it gives me a good excuse to BBQ something special (not that all my BBQ's aren't special but maybe not prize-worthy )

I believe the prizes make it more fun, I would still enter but like the idea of rewards.
Not only that I really got some really, really great stuff......
It gets some exposure for the vendors. I will recommend all items that I got because they are all really worthy products.
