Newby in China by way of Austin

Postby KJ Walker » Thu Mar 24, 2016 2:44 am

Hey guys, just joined up and glad to see this as a forum! From South Austin but founded China's first authentic barbecue joint (Bubba's) about 10 years ago. I cook on a Southern Pride BMJ350 inside the kitchen, and have a number of offset pipe smokers in the yard, with one of them weighing in at about 1,600 pounds. Also converted a food warming box into a smoker.

Anyway, thanks for starting this and look forward to getting into the subjects.

Founder and pit master of China's first ever authentic Texas barbecue joint. Host of Shanghai's annual chili cook-off in the Fall and the annual barbecue cook-off in the Spring.
