I finished up the little stuff today and I am ready for paint. It will be a while as my sons company is busy and will not be able to get to me for a while.
I put my license plate guard on.

I also put my flag holders on.

The other day I noticed the velocity of the 6" exhaust so I added a deflector to the roof to direct the heat/smoke out.

I have been thinking about adding the fourth grate to the cooker for a while and just couldn't make up my mind. Friday my son told me to get her ready for paint and bring her to the yard next week so that was the push I needed.
Yesterday morning I added the grate and got out of the back yard and parked next to her Sister Bahama Mama. :D

I am looking forward to cooking on this cooker. :D

Great build with lots of details. Can't wait to see her once she is painted.

Thanks for taking the time to share the build photos and details.

k.a.m.

Just looked over the thread again. I tell you what, if your retired, congratulations. If you are still part of the work force, you should give serious thought to doing this full time, at the bare minimum, as side work. I would get in line, no doubt. To build something like this out of your backyard shop using a come along, clamps, jacks, 2x4's etc. etc. is just amazing!!! It's plain to anyone that you have some kind of fabrication in your background, either in the workforce, or as a hobby.

Good job!

Thank You James. :D

Thank You Mark. :D

Thank you for the kind words Mark.
At 56 I am not retired  I started fabricating right out of high school and while I did go into other fields I always loved to work with steel. My last fabricating job was building oilfield trucks which lasted through the 90's I then actually took a job as office manager for a law firm. I could not get away from the steel and was always interested in cookers so here I am building them at home in my spare time. :D
