Picked up my smoker from Ratmo today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to say he really took a lot of time building this one. I know I'll be using it the rest of my life and my son will get it when I am gone. Quality work and a good price. That really hurt to say something nice about Ratmo but its the truth.

Yes it works just like a regular one. I think that is the best cosmetic part of the smoker.

I need to ask - the last pic... is that a fry top? Forgive my ignorance - I see the propane regulator and it looks like that very nice deep skillet is removable.

Yessir, it is removeable. Hard to see in the pic, but it has horseshoes for handles. The guy i built it for, uses it to stir fry veggies.
Its made out of a plow disc, with 3" flatbar welded to the edge.
