Lone Star Grillz new pit

Postby Springram » Wed Sep 23, 2015 8:00 pm

I know, I know, who cares? But... I ordered my new LSG 24"X36" smoker from Chris and Amber today. ONLY 16 weeks to get it.. Ha ha ha

They are the nicest folks to deal with. I was there this afternoon and ordered on the spot. I was amazed as to the quality of their product for the price compared to others in the Houston area.

I'm always happy to see someone get a new pit. Just like Christmas all over! Did you get any custom options?

The pit come with tuning plates. I added ball valve drain and a pull down front shelf. Thinking about adding a pullout ash pan.

The BVD is a nice option, especially when it comes cleaning time.

Jellyworker,

No pics of the one I ordered. I do have pics of the 24"x24" vertical that I thought I was going to get but realized I would not have had enough clearance for the two smoke stacks where I plan to place the cooker. Wow..that was a long sentence. Did that make sense? Anyway, the pit I ordered is the one shown on the web site in the 24" section. It is Lone Star Grillz's best seller.

Congrats! You will love the cooker when you get it. I have had mine since mid July and love it. I got the 24 x 48 with folding front shelf (very nice option) and a couple of other things. The wait is long but definitely well worth it.

Sparctec.

I know it is going to be great. I was just there again yesterday adding more if not all of the available options for the smoker. Just trying to figure out how to get it to my home when it is ready.

Glad you are enjoying your LSG.

it will be close to February before it will be ready. Glad to know there is a BBQ Brethren nearby! Do you already have a LSG smoker?

there's quite a few of us in the Spring area. I've cooked a LOT of meat on mine since 2012. Still happy with my purchase.

I'm an LSG Brethren. Sugar Land. You're too close to them to have them deliver to you. Get some friends and a UHaul.
I bought my Square Hybrid 3 years ago, and now I'm having Chris put it on a Trailer with a few 'siblings'

Should be ready in December.
