Couldn't get the link for rules and application to work. Is this cookoff sanctioned?

Re: Re:
Hi, sorry to jump in but I have a question for anyone that can help please, first of all my names paul and I'm from the UK so by default BBQ's and smokers are not instinct to
Me at the moment. How ever I have just started the love of smoking and over the past few weeks I have built my self a smoker. That's the problem what I have built is big and heavy its 2m long and what I have done is a 60/40 split the fire box is in line with the smoking chamber and I have made an of set fire wall. But my temp is just not getting there. Is it the fuel I'm using or the fact that the fire box is big? I really don't know any way if there is any one that knows about this subject its got to be a Texan so if anyone can spare a Brit a thought please?

Seems that this cookoff is making a splendid effort to remain low profile. Soooo here is a link to the application.

Rules can be found there too.
I have cooked or judged this event several times and always enjoy. It is a small town bubba-cook that usually has water and electricity.

I was about to ask I if it was normal to have cooks meetings in the middle of the day on a Friday…redneck answered that question for me.
