New to the Forum, but would like to expose my new Smoker Pit called the Eliminator Series 1 to the site. I named her the eliminator, since she almost eliminated me several times during the building process...The job was overwhelming...I have been cooking competition for just over a year now and have tried all kinds of pits..I built 5 to date and so far this has been the best of all of them....Thoroughly insulated with 1-1/8" insulation, good up to 2385 Degree's..I am not a rocket scientist, nor am I one of the best pit builders in the world, but thought I would pass on my thoughts and pics of what I put together..After several weeks of planning and racking my brains, I settled on what you see in the pictures..although with only 12 months of cooking I have learned a lot on pits and how they work..Being a newbe I welcome all remarks and criticism, good or bad...I will never be too old to learn

Limey appreciate the compliments.. Don't swell my ol head up to much. Still have a ways to go to finish everything up...Haven't made up my mind as to what or how I will finish the front of the cart up yet...I am in the process of trying to rig up a remote control drive unit on the rear axle to remotely drive it on and off my trailer...Need to work the ole brain a little longer. I've got some ideals...Thanks from Eliminator

Welcome aboard and nice pit.
I could see a stainless prep table and maybe a couple storage drawers on the open end…
