Who came first Tejas or Gator pit
New to this site, I just purchased a used Tejas smoker in great shape for 600.00 with log burner, cover, mop bucket, 160,000 btu side burner. 20/40. I was looking at gator pit prior, everyone raves how great they are. Now since I bought this one, of course I'm doing a little comparison back and forth. They seem pretty much the same, except for some little details. Is the gator that much better? Or are they just the more popular smoker. i always thought Tejas was a pretty good smoker, and popular brand,that's why I bought this when I saw it, I couldn't pass up the price.
