I'm interested in upgrading to trailer mount reverse flow smoker 60" size. I like Lang but don't want to pay the shipping. Who would you look at in Texas that makes a comparable or better RFS?
Thank you for feedback.

Welcome neighbor from the other side of the pond.
I'm sure there will be some RFS opinions for you here. Since I use a pellet cooker I can't be of much use.

Most (if not all) of the quality custom pit manufacturers (Klose, Gator, Lone Star and many more) will build an R/F smoker. I'm a former owner of an East Texas Smoker Company trailer pit - they make R/F smokers exclusively. Be sure to evaluate not only by price but customer service as well. I strongly urge you to visit them in person before plunking down a deposit. Good Luck and post up what you end up with.
Custom LSG 24x40 - 36" Blackstone - (others - R & O FatGirl, ETSC RK-250, Tejas 1628 - all sold)

HillbillyPigSmoker, I would make one phone call to Paul Shirley of Shirley Fabrication in Alabama. He and his son Tyler build the finest reverse flow cookers I know of and their work is second to none.
If you call him tell him k.a.m. sent you looking.
Good luck with your search.

You are very welcome HillbillyPigSmoker. I know Paul personally and can say he will build you what you want for a fare price.
I look forward to seeing some pics of your new cooker.
