How do the steak cook-offs run? Are they like a BBQ cook off?

See you Sat morning Big Ed!

Rcart, they are similar to BBQ, similar judging to KCBS, similar ticket system to IBCA and LSBS. The upsides are not having to spend many hours cooking three different meats, you show up Sat morning, set up, cook, collect trophy and prize money, and go home. Generally the payouts are fairly large since you're not splitting it up between several meat categories.

Don't get me wrong though, BBQ is in my blood, I just do the steak comps on BBQ off-weekends.

Ed, just slide that on down to my end of the table, for testing purposes, of course.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
