Nolan Ryan Hot Links

Postby Hotch » Sat Jul 19, 2014 7:15 am

I picked these up the other day to give'm a try. I got to say these are great. Good texture, great flavor, mild heat and good snap. All you want in a hot link.

Haven't tried those. Been reading about the brisket sausage. Haven't tried it either. Looks like good links from here. Thanks CF :D

Those do look good. The brisket sausage is good as well. Especially when hit with some smoke.

Adding those links to my wife's grocery list while she's not paying attention…

I picked up my first brisket sausage a month ago from Matador Meats in N. Plano. Wow were they great. So much so I took 5lbs. to the Texas Eggfest after party. They were a big hit. I will have to try the Nolan brisket sausage if I can find it up here. Thanks for the heads up.

Looks goooood!

Are those pre-cooked? Do you close the lid to grill something like that?

Yes I believe so.
I did close the Egg. Better control on the when shut. More a direct cook than grilling.
