Re: New pit from pitmaker
Thanks Limey... I got off a lil easy on the price. Between selling my old pit and a few comp winnings with Calcuttas, I didn't have to put out too much outta pocket. Needless to say I'll be content for awhile before getting anything added on.

I think you need to let me cook on it until after New years to decide if I want to get one

We should be there as well. It will be our first time to cook in the Fishin Fiesta. I normally take time off to fish in it.

Re: New pit from pitmaker
KAM- Thank you buddy... Allen gave me a few pointers on how they operate. I gave her 2 test runs... the first was a pork butt using just the ball valve to adjust the temp. The second time I hooked up the guru and set it at 275 for ribs. Ended up over shooting it and couldnt get it back down so I unplugged it and just manually adjusted. I was quick to find out that they like to cook hot cause they are so insulated and really rock along steady even without a guru so there wasnt much of a need for it. After compensating for that it's a breeze... Look fwd to seeing you guys in July.
