New pit, awesome 'que!

Postby AgChef » Wed Apr 16, 2014 10:54 am

Long time lurker that finally joined the community so I thought I'd share a few pics with you all.

So it all started a couple of months ago when I finally decided to pull the trigger and have a new pit built.....

Image

Got her seasoned up the day I brought her home and then the next day fired it up and did a rib run....

Image

And some baked beans...

Image

All was mighty tasty and the pit cooked like a dream!

Fired her up again on Monday and did a little brisket which turned out amazing!

I've been smoking meat for a long time but I couldn't be happier than I am with this new pit. Chris and Lone Star did an amazing job!

I realize there are a bunch of quality pit makers....however, for the money, those Lonestargrillz are HARD to beat. Comparing apples to apples.

I'd love one like that to hang sausage in.....something to consider if I ever get to pull the trigger...

J$ wouldn't have to eat salad if he didn't consume a whole brisket in one sitting

Mr AgChef, can you educate me a little on how to make Beans like those? If I were ever sent to death row, I'd probably ask for those beans to be my last meal. :)
