New Lone Star Grillz Pit

Postby AgChef » Sun Apr 06, 2014 10:28 am

Long time lurker here and finally decided to join the community. I just picked up my new pit from Lone Star Grillz and I couldn't be happier with the end result! It was 7 weeks from the time I placed my order until I picked her up but it felt like eternity! I got her seasoned yesterday and today I've got a brisket going and will throw some ribs and sausage on later. A huge shout out to Chris and his team at Lone Star as everything from start to finish was a breeze and they were all very helpful. The craftsmanship on his product is second to none! Let me know what you guys think!

Nice Pit. I'm thinking about buying a Lone Star Grillz pit.

I'm trying to decide between the 24x48 with the vertical smoker, and 24x40 without the vertical.

Have you used the vertical smoker yet??

1. I wish they used two latches (top and bottom) on the vertical to help it seal better. 2. I wish they would completely weld their flanges on the chamber doors instead of stitch welding them.

i'm sure they would be happy to do all that for an extra fee :D
