Whats up with R&O?

Postby TexasPyro » Tue Mar 18, 2014 11:46 am

Ive heard through the grapevine that they're going through a split, this is normal and happens in many business' but can get messy. I have a friend who put a deposit down on a pit at the R&O cookoff and now many months later cant get any any answers, one of the owners told him he was out of luck and the other wont answer and calls, emails, or texts from him. Ive met both owners and find it strange that they would hang someone out to dry, they both seem like stand up guys. Anyone know anything that could help my buddy out?

I just went through the same thing. The process was a complete mess. It'll be worth it in the end though when he finally gets it.

Was at R&O Sat. doors wide open nobody there. There was not any pits in the making, I spent $7000 with the man an he will not call me back. Robbie was great but he split the sheet with Billie right after the shootout. That's all I will say here. If you want PM me.

I'm pretty sure that is not an option any longer, Robbie told him "I'm sorry, Ive lost too much money in this deal, I can afford to give away another pit". It sounds like those who have put down a deposit may be out of luck at this point...

I made a huge typo in that last post and just now caught it, should have read 'I CANNOT afford to give away another pit'. He basically said that he's made right on all that he can afford.

Actually that is grand theft call the states attorney. I hear they have a free bed with Bubba the 300 lb love machine as a roomy open at the Gatesville state cross bar hotel :laughing7:

The whole thing is just sad. I will say this, from the photos, looks like Jeff got a really nice pit before the music stopped.

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

This all seams to be a sad situation for everybody, especially for those who may lose their money. Bad deal.

Hold on y'all - I think part of my post is being taken wrong. I got my pit thanks to Robbie, it was late but it all worked out. Trying to more business with Billie after the split as in ordering multiple pits and he still has never called me back. I have done business with Chad at Johnsons smokers, the mans service is great.
