Venison jalapeño cheese

Just was given a roll, but I'm the only one in my family that will eat it. How long will it last in the fridge?

Fresh, smoked or cured, maybe summer sausage. All make a difference on storage time. CF :D

The summer sausage recipes I have use a cure #1 added. It should keep at least 2 week in the frig, if it last that long. You could freeze half for later. CF :D

I was also going to ask if it was in cryovac... 2 wks I would think would be good as CF mentioned, I've always just given it the "once over" and smell test before consuming. Then again if it makes it past 2 wks, I forgot it was there and it's prolly waaaayyy past date :laughing7:
