Alittle something about Aaron...
By Lea Victoria Juarez

Aaron Vincent Juarez left this earth June 1.

The 25-year-old La Feria native was living in Corpus Christi, TX, working as a Physician’s Assistant at Kingsville Medical Center and Christus Spohn Portland Urgent Care. Each day he made the commute to the two centers, devoting his time to helping others and saving lives.

Even while growing up in La Feria, TX, Juarez helped out around the community, with his church and was recognized for his athletic abilities and academic achievements. He graduated fourth in his 2005 La Feria High School class before attending The University of Texas-Pan American. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTPA with his Bachelor’s degree in biology in 2009 and went on to receive his Master’s degree from UTPA as a Physician’s Assistant in 2011.

Aaron carried himself with a humble confidence and strong grace, exuding gravity and drawing in others with his presence.

Juarez frequently made visits back home to be with family and friends, and made sure to keep in touch with them on a daily basis even on the busiest of days. He is survived by his parents Fabian and Nora Juarez and younger sister Lea Victoria Juarez.

Fitness was a significant part of his life. He never missed a day of exercise and always promoted a healthy lifestyle. But when he wasn’t working or at the gym, he was on the dance floor, his heart pounding with the music and feet moving in smoothcadence.

Juarez eventually wanted to pursue a career as doctor in family practice. His dream continues with the Aaron Vincent Juarez Scholarship for UTPA students aspiring to become a Physician’s Assistant as well.

He now rests at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria, but his memory lives on through the lives of those he touched.

Is it a sanctioned cook off? Also it may encourage some more to joining if you put a linkwith story in there to who the fundraiser is for or what happened. Good luck to you hope it goes well.

Sounds like a good cook in honor of a fine young man who contributed mush to his family and community. While I don't venture that far south, here's wishing you buena suerte and the best to the Juarez family.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
