Blues Bandits & BBQ, Oak Cliff

Postby renob964 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 5:02 am

I entered the Blues, Bandits & BBQ contest in Oak Cliff scheduled for the end of October. Does anyone know the sanctioning body that I might be able to look up the rules. The contest requires a whole chicken. I need to know how it must be turned in. Do I cook it whole? Can I spatchcock and cook it spread out? Do I turn in a whole chicken? Half chicken? Would love some help.

This is only my second contest, the first being a KCBS....I also entered the sausage competition. I'd like to read up on rules for that category as well.

Thank you in advance,

David
