Wanting to start a new team out of Arlington, TX

I would like to create a team of BBQers from the Arlington, TX area to BBQ in local competitions. Two or Three people to share the costs and share the winnings evenly. Maybe we can flip a coin or have a pre-cookoff to see who cooks which category, Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Beans etc.. Mainly I just want to get out there and cook and talk about bbq with people.
Im looking for normal good natured family oriented people. Light to Moderate drinkers. Sports fans. Most important ....Seriously in it to WIN!

I am a armature to smoking but I am in the process of building my first pit. also I am not in the Arlington area but just about 40 miles southeast of there at cedar creek lake. I don't mind a little drive for some bbq lol. I actually work for Dallas county schools so I am pretty familiar with the area. I am game for anything to do with smoking. hit me up if you want to chat sometime.
