R&O pit question
I just bought a R&O cube. I've been practicing for a comp, and kind of wondering do I need to wrap my ribs and Brisket still? I've notice my brisket was more moist than usual. And ribs have been darn near perfect.

Cook by time, temp and looks. The judges will let you know. I have knocked off a few 1sts with what I would consider to be crappy for turn in. Good luck.

Re: R&O pit question
I have become real lazy with this Cube.
I was so shocked how easy they work, a little coal and wood and walk away.
I'm going to try brisket this weekend with no foil and see what happens. Thanks bros.

Thanks bro. I got one coming up in Manor I want to do. I plan on going to Leander too. I got this Cube and it cooks like a champ. I plan on getting another Cube this month just for the house. You like that Backwoods?

See that's funny because I really wish I would have picked up a pair of cubes also.
I bought the cube so I could run my ribs without wrapping. They are coming off pretty good.

You haven't notice any difference in texture or tenderness without the foil? how brisket do you go without wrapping? I love this cube; the LADY of the house is kind of jealous of the new toy

Where did you pick this thing up at? I imagine it's bigger than it looks, but could you give us some dimensions? Or how much can you cook on it?

I bought it from Billy Overton at R&O Smokers the best pit on the market. I don't know the dimensions. I can cook six briskets, or 9 slabs of ribs. I bought it for comps. Im still practicing on it. But it cooks like a great.

3 20x20 shelves, 5 inches apart.
Ribs are good to go for us. Not as simple as my other cooker, but no wrap.
Probably will never cook a brisket on it. My other cooker is the brisket maker, a UDS.
