Postby Imgriller » Tue Jun 11, 2013 5:18 pm

Hi my name is Mark with Coshell Charcoal. We are manufacturer of coconut charcoal briquettes. Our briquettes are manufactured using the coconut shell and burn hotter and longer compared to the wood based charcoal.

We would love get the word out to BBQ enthusiasts by offering some free sample bags of the charcoal for members and of course the moderator to enjoy and comment on.

you can visit our website at www.coshellcharcoal.com where you will additional information on our product.

I look forward to your response -
Mark

Welcome to the forum! Please sign me up for the regular (no lighter fluid or instant light goes in my ceramic). I'm interested to test how much ash is produced VS lump. :D I'll post a review in the smokehouse on the results.

Looks interesting we are looking for something to replace Kingsford for the grill. I have gone to tossing small chunks of my smoking wood in on the coals just to cover up the charcoal taste.
Thank You to all the fine folks here for all the tips and advice so I can now smoke a chunk of meat and folks actually eat it.

Hey IMGRILLER,
I'll take you up on the offer for the trial bag of regular. Been using lump hardwood charcoal for a long time and would like to compare it.

How do I get you my information?

Welcome and Thanks!

Coshell coconut charcoal

Postby Cliff H. » Wed Jun 19, 2013 3:33 pm

They are for real. He posted this same info on the BBQ central site. Within a few days I had a box with two three lb. bags on my step. Two days later I had another box with a 9lb bag on my step.

Hang tight.

I did send a pm with my mailing address.

Sparetime - pick up some lump instead of brickettes and don't use lighter fluid. The smoke will be much better. I kneaux there is a Wally world in Planeaux with some Royal Oak lump.

My wife just picked up the 2 pack of Kingsford so in a couple of weeks I'll snag some Royal Oak when I drop the boy off for work at Wallice Martimus.
