Not on OSD's Mfgr. List above but I like elements of what I see in their designs.
I do wonder how/if they get that exhaust below grate level?
Not a Competition guy so I mainly look at the Backyard model Smokers. Friend of a friend has one here in Dallas so I have been meaning to go and take a look. I like how they do the Firebox & apparently these incorporate some kind of capacity to hold water during the smoking process.

Also take a look at the Baby Hughie under Misc.
Love to hear from anyone with first hand experience or knowledge.

did you ever get a look at the Pruitt? What were your thoughts?
If I had something clever to say as my signature, this is where it would be.

Noted the firebox is not a cube, kind of a long narrow thing like a mailbox. I won't necessarily bash it because i never cooked on one, but looks kinda odd/atypical.

The firebox does look small for the pit. A neighbor had one that I cooked on and it works okay. Look at east texas smokers in Tyler. Similar design.

I live in Longview. This place is known for when welders are out of work u can always build a pit here. The pits always have looked sloppy to me.

I drive by that place about once a month since my step-son's dad lives about 5 minutes from there. I've never looked at one up close, but I've eyeballed them every time I drive by for the past 8 years or so. I never really liked the looks of them, but it's hard to fairly judge without getting up close and personal. For the price, there are a lot of other proven pit builders out there.
