Texas Chili wins

Postby SWMO-Tom » Tue Jul 24, 2012 8:08 am

We had a Chili Cookoff at work with the proceeds going to charity. No one cooks ‘real chili’ around her so I found “Jim Ivy's 1985 Terlingua World Championship Chili” recipe online and this is the result. I got this neat paper award and Texas chili beat “meat soup with beans”.

Congratulations on the win. A big pot of Texas red will win every time over bean soup. Heck we all know beans are a side dish. CF :D
OK, get over it, you lost. God bless America

Did you use the recipe from the write up in the Dallas Morning News?
