This is Brisket only cookoff. It is this weekend Aug 17/18th at Sammie'Js Bar & Grill on 9717 N. Houston Rosslyn. Its about 3 to 4 miles south of the horse track. It is not a sanctioned cookoff. $100.00 entry fee 100% payback. Paid out 70/30 split. Ph. # if interested 713-466-0821. Make sure you call before showing up. I think they said you have to signed up before Sat morning. Talked to them earlier and they still have room. They are tagging 2 briskets per entry. They said they will have Trophies for the top 3 places as well.
Real nice folks! They always supported all the functions at Bobby's on the Bayou. They always put up all the fliers that I stop by and give them. So if anyone goes tell them that you found out from me our you saw it listed on the forum. I ment to post this last week, but it just slipped my feeble mind.
