By the time you get there Jeff, I will probably have retired from cooking......again.

Just went and picked up canopies and a load of wood...getting excited for my first competition. We're heading out early Saturday morning, hoping to have a great time. See you all there!

Congrats to Tim Pregler, of Tim's Tailgate BBQ, for his very nice 1st place brisket today!! Tim finished 13th overall from a very tough field of 51, and had a 176.5 out of a possible 180 on his brisket.

Great job Tim!!!

Nice meeting you fella's this weekend. Great job with your 19th place chicken and 11th place ribs! Chosing a KCBS Qualifier for your first competition is tough enough but you guys managed to do great.

Hopefully, your hooked and we will see you out on the trail again.

I'd also like to congratulate Que a Syde on their 13th place Chicken in what was thier first competition. Was a pretty busy and sorry I did not get to walk over and say hello.

Well run competition and I would recommend it to anyone for next year.

Congrats to everyone who walked!!! Competition aside...I got to meet some of the best people I have had the opportunity to meet in several years. I fly in from NY for these events and the people on the teams out here really make it worth it!
