Re: sucklebuster seasoning
found it, should have done a bit more looking........now lets get ready to watch the World Series
This is the recipe on my Chili Seasoning labels, a couple of folks pinged me for the recipe:
1 lbs chili meat
1 lbs sausage
brown, drain and reserve.
Add to crock pot:
sausage and chili meat
1 cup of water
1 chopped yellow onion
1 chopped red bell pepper
1 chopped green bell pepper
1 can tomato soup
3 - 4 tablespoons of SB Chili Seasoning
salt to taste
Cover and simmer on high for 4 - 6 hours.
*optional (recommended)
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
** Also IF you use the beans. Instead of 1 cup of water, drain the beans and reserve the beans to add later. Add the bean stock instead of the 1 cup of water. Then add the beans to the chili just before serving.
Yield is 8 cups. I normally double the recipe.
Top with shredded cheese, chopped onions and pepper sauce. Serve

That sounds good. Never had sausage in chili before.

You can use ground pork sausage - like in the 1 lb rolls or plain ground pork. I have also cooked this recipe (with great results) using all ground turkey too...

Re: sucklebuster seasoning
Any kind of breakfast pork sausage in the 1lb log. I would shy away from the hot and sage versions and stick with regular. Store brand or whatever is on sale works great.
