Texas Indepence Day Throw Down!!!

Postby DATsBBQ » Wed Feb 16, 2011 5:30 pm

Show your Texas pride!
BEEF BEEF BEEF BEEF :cow: :cow: :cow: :cowrose:
Grilled or smoked. Burgers to clods and everything in between. Your picture can be plated with sides or just beefy goodness on the cutting board.

Your Picture should be 800X600 resolution in a JPEG (.jpg) format. I'll start accepting entries on Feb 27th and will post the email address later. You must send a pic, not a link to some hosting site.

Those wanting to get a head start, the code this time is "SAM HOUSTON", write it on the back of a business card and make sure it is in the photo! Polls go up March 2 (which is both :texas: Independence Day from Mexico {1836} and Sam Houston's Birthday {1793} but you knew that already).

All other ThrowDown Ordinances apply. viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1338" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

Maybe, just maybe I can rustle some kind of Prize in addition to the Custom Avatar and Bragging Rights.

It will be embarrassing if a Yankee wins

Looking forward to all the pics of beefy goodness. Gotta time to see whats in the meat locker and maybe run to the local butcher if I have to. Sounds like fun. Good Luck to all.

Does it have to be done on a smoker or grill. Like can it be done on a plow disc. Just made one and planning to do a lot of cooks on it.

The idea is that the fuel source is wood (to include pellets, charcoal etc), so if your disc fueled by fire, guess its good.
