Next Throwdown?
I was just wondering if y'all had a throwdown lined up for the near future?

I've thinking about it. Full blown Td or a golden palte Td or somewhere in between? What would you and anybody else like to see?

Not really sure. I haven't ever done one before but would like to get in on it. Do you have different catagories you enter just like a comp? If thats the case, count me in. I'm ready to see one get underway.

Look over the past ThowDowns treads in this forum to get a feel for things.
A full blown TD consists of Big Hunks of Meat, Reebs, Things With Wings and Anything Goes. The winners of those go on to compete in the Grand Finale. Other ThrowDowns are more limited.

Full blown Td sounds good to me. Maybe some others will chime in too.

Presidents Day ain't bad, gives us the weekend to prep. But any day is a good day to throw down.

Re: Next Throwdown?
To do it right, we need at least 3 weeks if not more time to set it up.
The TDs that have had the most members competing in are those that have limits on the amount of categories.
The National Pork Month TD was limited to reebs and big hunks of meat. We had 9 members entered with 30 members voting.
SuperBowl XLIV was a one entry per member, 10 members entered and 48 members voted.
The Independence day TD was a one entry per member, 6 members entered and 34 members voting
The Veteran's Day TD was a full blow TD with 7 members entered (4 of which entered all 4 categories). In the end 21 members voted.
With that as background it looks to me that the next ThrowDown should not be a Full Blown ThrowDown as we get more member participation in the limited ones.
