Looking for about 1,000 rounds from 1 or 10 people. Let me know what you have and how much please.

I wish you good luck. Ammo of any kind is hard to find; Rimfire is almost impossible to locate. I can’t even find one box of 270 shells for my rifle

A friend sent me a pic of Academy in Port Arthur the other day. 7:15 A.M. people in line to buy ammo like it was black Friday. It is ridiculous and this will go on well into 2021.

It's been that way around here for over a year, every Tuesday morning.

Fear hoarding Joe.
The manufacturers cannot keep up with the demand. That and Covid is probably slowing progress at plants.
I am not really sure why one person would need thousands of 9mm or 38 special rounds but there are folks that think they do.

Bingo. When I found my 38’s I had 5 cartridges left. I only ordered one box of 20 and if I have to use those all I’m in deep Do Do

Interesting. Thanks.

We used to buy 4-5000 rounds of 22 cal competition ammo for our sons biathlon rifle at a time. They usually spent maybe 1000 rounds in competitions during the winter. The reason is that we tested many different lots in a cold chamber and bought the lot that worked best for their rifles.

Used cheaper ammo for practice. Competition ammo was 60 cents per shot while competition ammo was maybe 8-9 cents.

If you look hard enough you can find them online but get ready they are averaging 3.00 to 6.50 a round.

I’m not the guy who has a 1000 rounds but I do try to keep 4-500 on hand. Mostly for times like these when shortages occur.

Google "ammo finders"

Here's a good one to start with.
https://ammoseek.com/

When you find some at a price you can stand you'd better buy quick. One caveat. Do your best to make sure the seller is reputable. Google them too. Pay attention to the recommendations of gun forums. Generally quick and easy.

Do try to buy in bulk to minimize shipping costs.

Best of luck in your search.

I’d say 2 months ago it was easy but now scarce. Prices have skyrocketed.
