I have several including Frog mats and the silicone type I have used none of them sooooo I am of no help at all.. :dont:

I take that back I have used the Frog mats when smoking sausage. Summer sausage without casing wrapped in frog mat gave the nice checkerboard square pattern worked good cleaned easily.

Thanks. So what I see is that the frog mat is the thing, and those who use them are happy with them.

I'll order a couple and try.

How do you clean them? Are they dishwasher safe?

I've got one and love it.
Just a FYI tho, they RETAIN heat very well and get Extremely hot so use caution.
