What type of wire should i use to extend the length of my probe? I recently broke the one that came with my smoke daddy pellet smoker. Must of pinched the wires or soemthing

How about a longer replacement?
I don't know what type plug yours uses but most of the ones for sale on Amazon can swap probes.

I saw a guy on one of these forums rewire one and extend the probe length. I'll have to dig around on the computer when I have time. So much easier to search for stuff in the computer

Yeah, I think ur best bet is to just get a replacement. I'd suggest wrapping tin foil around the probe wire where it makes contact when ur lid or door is shut, this will help prolong it somewhat. Most wires fail from being either ( crimped ) or they get ( wet ) under the silicone jacket right where the wire connects to the actual probe part.

I would just buy a replacement probe. You may run into some issues trying to patch your current one.
