Nice skillet. I've been thinking about getting something like that. When I put mine on my Weber the handles keep me from closing the lid.

Does the base have raised edges for doing steaks? Can't seem to tell by packaging.

Russ

the inside is just a smooth skillet
i don't know if it has a raised ring around the bottom, but i doubt it
i haven't actually seen one yet
everybody wants the skillets to work on an induction stove top now
must be smooth and magnetic

I have a ci skillet as well but it has raised ridges for searing lines on your steak, that's all I use mine for, especially if I'm cooking for a few at home. Just had a quick look but can't find it ATM. I like them a lot because they retain the heat for ages.

Wow, who'd a thunk it.? I'm loving that option you have. Mines only 1 use. I also have 2 electric woks and 2 non stick pans, so I'm covered. Thanks for the lesson. ;) ;)

Iv got the same one. use it as a griddle for burgers. Id say if you want a gill top griddle, get a square one.
