wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a cover that fits well over a UDS.
i'm thinking it will go quite a ways to improve my drum's WAF (wife approval factor).

Ask BluDawg or SwampDonkey, both Drummers of the first magnitude. What I have seen is mostly adapting a Weber kettle lid to the top of the UDS, and adding your own custom paint, which varies from geek-cool to actual cool to well, total absence of cool:

As for paint in colors other than black, I recommend the following, which worked great for me given the 900F to 2000 F degree rating:

Re: cover for UDS ?
sorry, man. wasn't clear.
ended up buying this cover in their mid level material
fits my drum with two risers and a 6" tall exhaust quite well. quite happy with it now - not sure how well it will hold up over the next several years, but don't regret the purchase at all.

Old post but for future inquiries the Akorn cover fits perfectly.

I used the redneck version 55 gal contractor grade can liner
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.
