Fired up a couple of my drums for a little practice cook- two CAB briskets, points and flats separated, one trimmed up box size the other ( with a f^@#ing huge slaughter gash ) for a work party. For 'eatin' - not competin'!"
Kingsford Blue bag with cherry and French Oak wine barrel chunks for smoke. Injected with Butcher's & Smoky Okie's Deep Beef. One seasoned with Redneck Cooker's Brisket #1, the other with Oakridge BBQ Black Ops.
Heeeere's Johnny! My REDRUMS!
Foiled the comp/trim flat in 90 minutes, pulled 60 minutes later, then Cambro'd for another hour then sliced.
Small on smoke ring - BIG on Flavor!
Now for my favorite part - the points!
Great stuff from Glen Rose, Texas - Thanks Jeff!
Stay hungry my friends!
