Is the 24" rule measured from bottom or top of fire basket? My drum is 33 1/2" tall. With a 8" tall basket 3" above ash pan with 1" legs on ash pan leaves me 12" to the top of my drum. I'm going to use a weber lid and wanted 2 racks. Where should I put these racks?

I got 3 racks in mine, from the bottom up 20'',26'' and 32''. Bottom grate holds a water pan about 5'' above coal basket and upper 2 for cooking grates! Cooks real good with very little effort!
