I am building a UDS and using a weber done it does not quite fit perfectly but I can put the locking ring on and its fine I think
now it has the one 4 hole vent on top will that be enough or do I need to add some more exhaust as far as intake I am going to cut 3 1 " holes and use magnets I am trying to make this as cheap as possible.
How do yall handle drippings I have the top grate (weber flip 22.5) mounted about 2 " down from the top and was thinking about a second grate about 7 inches lower with a drip pan or for more cooking area.
Thanks in advance

Re: Couple of UDS queations
The Weber dome should provide enough draft. I have seen several ways to handle drippings/diffuse heat but most seem to think that the dripping falling into the heat is a flavor source that makes the UDS better.
