Updated UDS pics

Promised more pics once I got rid of that purple color - made a few other changes too.
Won the cover at local liquor store by purchasing a lot of tequila - it was worth it!

First cook with the UDS - it's unfinished, of course - but getting there. Just want to add some side shelves & wheels and she'll be ready to go all the way. The air handlers are spark plug gap gauges - just wanted to add a little "class".

Practicing for an upcoming (my first) contest - the ribs came out really good - looked good too - just have one question - they reached the pull slightly from the bone, but the end(s) were still a little firm - I didn't cut the spares down, so maybe that will solve the problem - any suggestions? I don't want to make them "too" tender, but don't want those ends firm either.

Hope everyone is having a great barbecue - guess that's an oxymoron, after all.
