UDS Build Question

I am getting my hands on a 55 gallon drum this weekend and am gonna build my 1st UDS.

I have read all the posts here on this forum and others and feel comfortable with building it, but I would like tips on the size (LxWxH) and shape (square, rectangle, round) for the charcoal basket.

When I build the fireboxes for em they are 14 x14 x 6. Seems to work well with all I have built them for.
