Charcoal rotisserie lamb and chicken

Postby Russ » Thu Sep 03, 2020 7:22 pm

Starting to warm up here after winter, more bbqs and rotisserie building up to summer, so I boned a leg of lamb out and bought a 2 kg chook. Lamb was 2.2 kg. Family day as it was a Sunday and I cook on a Sunday. Served with salad and slaw and stuffed tatters.
It was absolutely lovely, my daughter walked into the garage half way through, big sniff of the air, says man you can't beat that smell. Bring on summer, I know you guys have it good at the moment.

From the looks of this cook I’d say you got it going on pretty good yourself!

Yeah there's vents at the ends to alter air flow. This is about my 5 th cook using it so still altering. I was very happy so I'm close. :)

I don't really like mutton, although if it is properly marinated and cooked, it turns out quite tasty. Visually, the meat looks cool, how did it taste? I think not a piece is left.
