Convert electric companion to gas
I have an electric companion that I have used quite a bit in the almost five years I have owned it. Needless to say, I have been very happy with it. I have noticed the controller appears to melting from the heat and the two prongs on the heating element are bent and flimsy feeling. I am not sure how much longer it is going to work. To replace the parts is going to be around $150 with shipping. I am thinking of buying the gas burner and other necessary parts and turn it into a gas grill. Has anybody done this yet? I would appreciate any comments, ideas, etc. Many thanks!!!

Have you priced the Gas Components to do a Conversion yet ? I'm thinking it may end up a coin toss - - Good Luck
