Don't git the rope, but I've never cooked or tasted a Tri Tip in my life
When he handed it to me I told him it looked like a cut that I'd do London Broil style and he agreed but told me it would be more tender if I cooked it medium rare to medium which I did and it was.
It was a very lean cut so I had no wiggle room to fudge it but at least it was only 4 $ a lb. I think this was a 4 lber
