Or do you know how I can repair it?
A valve control on my Amana grill was forced to the clockwise until it stripped (not the knob - the knob is fine). The valve stays open and the dial just turns around with no effect. I am assuming that this is a relatively simple repair and/or that this part is somewhat standard and I can pick it up somewhere - I guess that would be my preferred method, to replace the part.
The parts says:
65mhar
A200-0
1/2 PSI
Thank you in advance

I googled that number and found this https://www.partselect.com/CombinedSear ... px?ID=a200

Thanks for the effort!
It looks like my aging eyesight failed me and I should have been looking for 65mbar, not 65mhar. A quick search seems that that's getting me much closer.

Re: Where Can I Buy This Part for my grill?
I actually located this, which is for the side-burner for my unit and includes a part very similar to what I need - with a slight difference on the end of the nozzle. I've got to determine if that will make a difference or not. I actually have the side-burner that I don't use, so if I cannot get the actual part, I'll look into cannibalizing it.

Ouch... $103 for a valve is pretty steep. That MAY be something you could just replace with a plain old gas shut off valve from a hardware store, perhaps with an adapter to make it fit, if needed.
Maybe somebody who is better at scratch building and those kind of improvised repairs can give you a better idea if my idea is feasible.

Yeah, that's what I thought/was hoping.
I'll get it figured at some point, but thought I'd check and see if someone could make it easier for me.

Maybe this? You never indicated your model # it appears that Amana and Brinkman have a lot of common parts.

Awesome find, Papa Tom.
Looks really close, and it's solid brass (or appears so) so it should be decent quality. Even if not, it's 1/3 the price.

I haven't checked the fitting but does anyone know offhand if the shape of the end is a factor for these?

OK, it looks like it fits a bit loosely so my concern for back-flow must be unfounded.

Re: Where Can I Buy This Part for my grill?
Actually, when my old garden grill was broken a couple of years ago, I found a old, non-working grill online and bought it for a cheap price. I took a couple of parts that I needed and fixed my grill. Maybe you can do the same thing by looking on eBay or other marketplaces.
