Good luck with the new Weber. You can do just about anything on it.
I also agree with Bill on getting the charcoal baskets. I use them whenever I do indirect grilling or smoking on the kettle.

Definitely an intriguing thread, Bill. I gotta admit, it' be even more so if the pictures came thru, LOL Sounds similar to the snake method that I've seen talked about here.

The weather finally cleared up here and I was able to put the Weber together yesterday. Tonight begins the epic "Quest for Fire"!

I know none of you have ever seen anything as exotic as a Weber 22" kettle grill (LOL), so I'm uploading a couple of pics to show off.

The one thing I hate about Picturetrail for photo hosting is that they can't seem to display photos vertical, so ones like these get turned on their side. :banghead:
Oh well, they're free and reliable, unlike Photobucket

Good looking unit!

Have you tried posting the pictures through our site? It's much easier than the third party hosts IMHO.

I really should give that a try. I keep forgetting it's an option. Most forum owners are concerned about bandwidth costs and don't allow attachments like Gator does. Another reason to appreciate him and Sucklebusters. :)
