A table for my Webber
Made out of Cedar.
Didn't follow any plans, just kinda figured out what I wanted and winged it from there

Thats nice Bill, looks to be a highly efficient unit. Extra room for pans and utensiles as well. Nice.

Awesome, Wild Bill, several of our valued members are wizards with woodworking as well as wood smoking

Re: A table for my Webber
Thanks y'all
I'm far from a fine wood craftman but after watching and helping my dad in law build our house over a 4 year period I picked up enough know how to at least fake it.
After my wife's dad passed she got most of his wood working tools. I've got his table saw, joiner and 14" bandsaw along with some other stuff I ain't figured out how to use yet.
Anyways all I have to add to the table now is something to hang utensils on. Thinking about a rack on the end of the table made with wood dowels.
Thanks again for looking.

A cool outside rack can also be made from the head of an old garden rake - - - just my $0.02

Are you worried about heat charring the wood? That being said i know nothing about wood work.

Yea that has crossed my mind. Kinda why I decided to leave the handles on the Kettle just incase it needs a emergency ejection.
I got around a 1/2" air space between the kettle and the wood. I installed 6 stainless screws on the inside perimeter of the cut out to keep the kettle in place.
I going keep an eye on it the first few cooks. If I need to Ill install a rope gasket on the inside of the cutout

Wild Bill, just guessing but you might also see if you can come up with 4 or so stainless wedges that would fit between the table and the Weber, raising it up some but also allowing more clearance between the two. These could be used "just in case"
